Port in Stereo

PORT IN STEREO features sounds recorded in Port Adelaide. Some are used as highlights; others are looped to create structural, rhythmic percussion. The lyrics weave historical references into a poetic, contemporary interpretation of Port Adelaide the place.

The title of the song references the potential stereo effect created by playing, within the live soundscape of the Port, a song composed using the sounds of Port.

Lyrics and Melodies: Emily Collins

Music: Dexter Campos and David Kotlowy

Producer/Graphics: Dental Jams

The SOUNDING THE PORT project is proudly supported by a City of PAE Grant.
